Lee joined Supply Desk in 2001 as a trainee Recruitment Consultant - Previously he had worked in two Primary School admin roles and was Bursar in two Secondary Schools in Sheffield. Lee became Manager of the Sheffield Branch in 2002 and Senior Manager in 2005. Lee was then made Executive Manager in 2007, heading Supply Desk nationally. 2010 is going to be an exciting year for Supply Desk in terms of offerings to the market place and Lee is very much looking forward to being part of this.
Sheldon joined Supply Desk in 2008 as Branch Manager of Manchester. With the support of his team, Sheldon has worked diligently to grow the branch and has successfully built a strong link between clients and candidates in the area. Sheldon has since been promoted to Senior Manager - North. Sheldon’s new role will ensure that Manchester and its surrounding branches continue to grow and succeed.
Simon has worked for the organisation since 2004 where he started work as a recruitment consultant in the Southampton branch for Supply Desk. Over the course of the past five years, Simon has been lucky enough to have worked in several positions which have enabled him to travel the length and the breadth of the country, working in every office and getting to know every area of the business. What is common across the company is the genuine passion for effective recruitment and the provision of a quality service to our clients and candidates.
As a senior manager within the group with regional responsibility for the education arm of the business in the south of England (incorporating our offices in Kent, Southampton, Brighton and London) Simon is pleased to be part of an organisation which has a truly innovative approach to recruitment for the education market
Claire has worked for Supply Desk since August 2000 and has managed the Huddersfield branch for over five years. The Huddersfield branch works with schools in Kirklees, Calderdale, Leeds and Bradford and has been established for nine years. Claire works with Kirklees and Calderdale secondary schools. Rachel is senior consultant and has worked for Supply Desk for over four years. She looks after a busy primary desk, working with Kirklees, Calderdale & Bradford schools. Aaron has worked for Supply Desk for over a year and looks after Leeds and Bradford secondary schools and Leeds primary schools. Chloe joined the company in April 2009 and works with support staff and nurseries as well as resourcing supply staff for the branch.
Ellie has worked for Supply Desk for 3.5 years and started with the company as a Consultant. Previously, Ellie worked in Industrial, Commercial & Driver Recruitment and worked as a Sales Manager for a National Training Company. The Lincolnshire Branch has a team of four staff, two Primary Consultants, a Resourcer and Ellie runs the Secondary Desk. The office covers Lincolnshire, Hull & the East Riding of Yorkshire.
Mike started with Supply Desk in July 2008 as a recruitment consultant covering Manchester secondary schools. Mike was then promoted to business development manager for the Lancashire region in August 2009, and is intent on making the branch the best branch in Supply Desk! Mike loves the different challenges that each day brings, but still secretly hopes that Manchester United might recognise his sporting talents in the future!
Lucy Fallon has been with Synarbor for five years; two years as branch manager and running the Sheffield primary desk. There are five members in the Sheffield team; Kate Plumbe, consultant, runs a split primary/secondary desk, James Hill, consultant, also runs a pure primary desk and the final member of the team is David who is the resourcer. As a branch, Sheffield cover a vast area and have clients in South and West Yorkshire, Derbyshire and North Nottinghamshire.
Gemma is the branch manager for the East midlands office, and has worked for Synarbor for six years recruiting for secondary schools in the East Midlands region. Gemma has managed the branch for a year and half. The East Midlands office covers Leicester, Derby and Nottingham and is the biggest branch within Synarbor recruiting nursery nurses, teaching assistants, cover supervisors and teachers. Based in Nottingham city centre, the branch provides an excellent service to the schools in the area, taking great care of all of candidates and helping to place candidates in the right job.
Allan has recently taken over as the Manager of the East Anglia Branch. He has worked in recruitment for over six years. During this time he has worked in both private, and public sector recruitment. Before joining Supply Desk Allan worked as a Development Manager for a national recruitment company managing multi-site accounts.
Katharine is a fully qualified teacher who has been recruiting teachers in the London and Kent areas for eleven years. Katharine spent the last six years as a Teacher Recruitment Manager for Medway Council. In August 2009, Katharine opened the Kent office for Supply Desk which covers Kent, Medway and South East London. Also in the Kent branch is Sarah Young, Recruitment Consultant and Tracy Penfold, Resourcer. Together they enjoy helping schools fill vacancies and finding positions for school staff. The branch pride themselves in delivering a high quality and professional service to schools, teachers, TAs, cover supervisors and support staff.
Nicole taught in London for five years before becoming an education recruitment consultant. After working in London for five years, Nicole relocated to Southampton where she became the branch manager of the Southampton branch for Supply Desk. After five very successful years working as the branch manger in Southampton Nicole is now developing new business for Supply Desk in Wiltshire and Swindon. Nicole also supports work for Supply Desk in Devon, Bath, Bristol and Gloucestershire too.
Gemma Yates joined Supply Desk March 2004. Gemma is a trained secondary english teacher. Now, branch manager running a team of six, covering the Sussex, Brighton and Surrey areas.
